Burberry Pre-Fall 2016 Collection

Christopher Baileywith his Burberry pre-fall 2016 collection chose to draw inspiration from the ‘70s with his chosen proportions, while leaving everything with an air of modernity. He gave a nod to the edge of grunge he chose to display for spring, but really played it down, letting the clothes speak for themselves in a way that will be perfect for streetwear.

We are presented with levels of comfort and warmth of all magnitudes, in order to accommodate for the season’s often unpredictable weather. This makes many of the garments much more versa-tile, since you could potentially wear one jacket from this collection for fall and winter both. Especially the thick or oversized coats.

The overall design is simple, and something you would expect to find, especially in at a Burberry outlet, but Bailey chose to enlarge the sleeves and collar in particular, making it clear you wouldn’t simply be purchasing a large coat. Especially when layered, you can expect this will keep you warm in fall and winter.
