Newfoundland and Labrador Fur Breeders Association (NLFBA) New Website

The Newfoundland and Labrador Fur Breeders Association (NLFBA) has launched its brand new website that shares its stories with other Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans.

Its mission is to inform the public about the industry and its practices - especially about the human care given to fur animals and the strict regulations that govern the trade in this province.

NLFBA was created in 1984, to provide a collective voice for the province's fur farmers and to establish an official organization that would work to develop and improve the industry. From the onset, its primary mission has been to promote a viable and responsible fur farming sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. The NLFBA is recognized as the trade association that defends and promotes the interests of farmed fur producers in this province.

The website which launched on 22nd April, gives an insight into the fur farming industry across Newfoundland and Labrador that now accounts for more than 250 full time and part time jobs. With a mix of both articles and videos available, www.furfarming.ca offers to provide information on fur farming in NL, how the trade helps employment in the area and the markets it has connections with around the world.
