Please tell us what you have been working on in the past year?

Last year we focused on rebranding our website and social media. We organized with cooperation with Studio NAFA: NAFA Young Designers Competition – it was first competition in Poland where young designers can use fur material. It was really big challenge for us, because we had to convince Scholl of Design in Poland that it will be good experience for young people. After many efforts we are proud of the work we have done. Finally first time in Poland one of our young designers was in Studio NAFA in Toronto and attended an inspiring workshop.

Spring this year we were co-organisers of the Fashion Expo in Szczecin, where we had the opportunity to meet with other organisations which work in the Fur industry in Poland as for example Polish Fur Breeders Association. We organised a meeting for all people from the fur industry- so that we could together- raise issues important to the Fur Trade in Poland.

Why is fur important in Polish design/history/culture?

Fur in Poland is important because it is associated with a long tradition of breeding. Many of these businesses exist because of family tradition.

Polish designers use fur in their collections, many celebrities wear fur and promote the use natural products instead artificial. Young companies and designers use fur in their small businesses and produce a lot of fur gadgets.

What trends do you expect to see in the upcoming Ready To Wear 2017 shows?

We expect that in the upcoming Ready To Wear 2017 shows there will be a lot of gadgets , bags, backpacks, shoes, vests and collars which are easily accessible for all people who want wear fur.
