Kopenhagen Fur Auction Reports – January 2017


January 11, 2017 - Auction concluded on a successful note


Kopenhagen Fur January auction continued third and last day with their Brown & Brown Velvet (M,F), White & White Velvet (M,F), Silverblue & Silverblue Velvet (M,F) Mahogany & Mahogany Velvet Males skin sales, clearances are good percent and prices steady comparing with their earlier sales.

The first two mink Top Lots in 2017 were purchased by Mr Lee Wheeler on behalf of Mr Fan Jiang from Markcorp Trading based in Yuyao, China. The first Top Lot, White Velvet Males, was sold for 820 DKK during the January sale. Later that day, Markcorp Trading also purchased the second Top Lot, Brown Velvet Females.

Day 2: January 9, 2017 - Auction Continues with good results

Kopenhagen Fur January auction continued second day pearl beige, pearl beige velvet & black cross males & females skins with good competition, selling pearls skins 100 percent however black cross 79 – 91 percent and prices steady comparing with their earlier sales.

Day 1: January 8, - Kopenhagen Fur has begun new sales season

Kopenhagen Fur January 2017 auction opened today their mink sales on a crowded room with an offering of the minor mink type Palomino. Male skins were sold 100 per cent at prices 2 per cent above the June auction 2016 when a comparable collection was last offered.

Female skins were sold 70 per cent in the classic type whereas Velvet skins were sold 85 per cent. The average price on Palomino female skins decreased approx. 1 per cent compared to June 2016.
